Having called Nevada home for more then 2 decades, Carlos's dedication to his community is unwavering. He seeks to elevate the voices of others, and contribute to the state's success & economic development. Carlos Fernandez is not just a candidate; he is a community advocate, and a proud Nevadan ready to engage, empower, and elevate his community.

Carlos is a leader ready to empower, engage, and elevate our community as the University Regent for District 1! His journey has been one of resilience, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to giving back to the community that he grew up in.
From grassroots advocacy to leadership, Carlos is dedicated to enhancing higher education in Southern Nevada, the community that shaped him.
His advocacy spans back to his time as an undergraduate student where as student body president he was instrumental in securing funding for veteran students, the UNLV School of Medicine, and the College of Engineering.
In his various professional roles, including at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, he developed strong relationships with elected officials and business leaders across the valley to address important issues.
